- Hi Spirit, Thanks for the interesting seed. I have not studied extensively on this but I thought that climate change has long been thought to be a catalyst for triggering evolution. Perhaps it's the specifics of that process that are coming to light.

- Excellent example of one of the pieces of evolution. The white bird is a genetic mutation. More easily seen by predators and less likely to survive to produce more white blackbirds. An evolutionary dead end.

- When creationists argue with the evidence / facts that support evolution it's just a smoke screen for their real reason for not accepting evolution as true. They believe it contradicts their religiously based world view, which is not empirically based.
